This mini fibre optic media converter is designed to convert the electrical signal from a twisted-pair 10/100/1000Base-TX cable to a 1000Base-FX fibre optic cable via an SFP module.
When using this media converter, the transmission distance can be extended from 100m via copper cables up to 120km via fibre optic cable.
It supports full-duplex and half-duplex and boasts extremely low power consumption, low heat and stable performance.
Construction is from metal for a sturdy, resilient product able to be used in most scenarios.
It is the perfect product for scenarios that call for media conversion in a tight or restricted space.
Note: Comes with power supply with UK plug.
